The aim of this half-day course is to provide delegates with an understanding of ISO 14001 environmental management systems (EMS) and the benefits an organisation can derive from the operation of an effective EMS. Who should Attend Chief Executives and managerial staff wanting to gain a better understanding of EMS/ISO 14001, the benefits of operating a certified EMS and the resource implications of firstly implementing and then maintaining an EMS to the ISO 14001 standard. Course Programme: Overview of ISO 14001, benefits of a certified EMS, resource implications, integration with other systems eg ISO 9001:2000. Course Delivery Method Lecturing/Tutor input, group exercises, examples. Certificate of Training A certificate of training will be issued to delegates attending the course. Course Tutor: The tutor is an experienced IEMA registered, Lead EMS Auditor with experience of ISO 14001 implementation in a wide range of industry sectors. |
